IHOP ONETHING CONFERENCE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Following is a list of the volunteer schedule and different volunteer opportunities:
Friday April 16th
9:15 am pick up team from Hotel ( Comfort Inn) and take to church for Set up of conference.

10:50 am Worship Leaders and Speakers arrive at LGA
12:00pm Lunch (provided by Promise Ministries)
12:30pm Sound Check ( or sooner)
4:00 pm Volunteers Meeting
5:00 pm doors open/registration starts)
5:00 pm Dinner ( Provided by Promise Ministries)
6:00 pm Sanctuary Doors open (depending upon soundcheck)
7:00 pm First Session Starts
aprx 10:30 pm Drop off onething team to hotel.
Saturday April 17th
7:45 am Pick up team from Hotel (Comfort Inn) and take to Church.

Volunteers
To supplement our administrative team, we ask that volunteers be coordinated for the event. We are incredibly thankful for our volunteers and know that this conference could not happen without them!
In order to efficiently train our volunteers… we ask that everyone come to a 4pm training session on the first night of the conference. Special case situations can be understood.
We will need volunteers for:
Registration [6 max]
To staff registration tables all days of the conference. We recommend volunteers with basic computer skills as they will use an online program to check our attendees in.
One “Registration Captain” : to assist our manager throughout conference (full time position)
Day 1: 6 5 pm – 9 pm
Day 2: 4 8:15 am – 12 noon
Day 2: 2 12 pm – 5 pm
Day 2: 4 5 pm – 9 pm
Bookstore [6 avg.]
To help with sales and inventory all days of the conference. Volunteers with experience in retail or familiarity with our products is recommended but no means required.
Two “Bookstore Captains” : to assist our manager throughout conference (full time position)
Day 1: 8 5 pm – 10:30 pm
Day 2: 6 8:15 am – 12 noon
Day 2: 6 12 pm – 5 pm
Day 2: 6 5 pm – 10:30 pm
Security [4 avg.] (Include Head of Security)
To check wristbands and control environment and traffic flow in sanctuary. Number dependent on variables such as how many doors have access to the sanctuary.
Day 1: 6 4 pm - 10 pm
Day 2: 6 8:15 am – 12 noon
Day 2: 4 12 pm – 5 pm
Day 2: 4 5 pm – 10 pm
Ushers [12 max] (includes Head Usher)
To help with offering collection during evening sessions.
All Evening Services: 12 7 pm: After Worship Portion
Runners/Drivers [2 avg.]
It is extremely helpful to have volunteers available (on call) to run any last minute errands.
Power Point Person [1 max]
We need a dedicated power point person to run all announcements and song slides during each service and to set up our running promotions for in between services.
